1976 Triumph Stag
Project Details
Midnight Fabrication has been commissioned to build this one-of-a-kind ride. Crash Customs will do the body and paint.
Gordon, the owner, now lives in Minneapolis, and is the epitome of a great customer. He was born and raised in Scotland and grew up working on this car with his Dad and buddies. His original plan was to restore the iconic British vehicle back to its former glory. How things have changed!
After consulting with Steve and Crash! Gordon decided to go for a look that would go above and beyond any typical restoration.
Gordon grew up reading magazines about American hot rods and going to Grand Prix style Road Races with multi-carbed Ferrari's and Carol Shelby Cobra's.
The Boys at Midnight Fab are blending those influences into the Stag to create a Triumph Supercar that pays tribute to performance history with a few modern updates. Midnight Fab has designed and built a complete custom tube chassis in house, which is taking on the appearance of a piece of artwork! Monsterly-huge 4 wheel disc brakes, Narrowed Corvette rear-end, Custom Mustang II style front suspension, Chevy ZZ383-425 Crate Motor with aluminum fast-burn heads, An 4 Downdraft Weber Inglese intake, 6-speed manual transmission, and more trick mechanicals executed by Midnight Fabrication. All of this on a factory right-hand drive chassis.
This car is destined to be a real Head Turner and Show Stopper. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures as this car is transformed in to a Supercar.
